PHO AN RESTAURANT ~

When i was a kid, my parents will always take me to Pho An Restaurant in Bankstown. As i got older the visits got less but i still go here regular either with friends or family even though i live quite far away now. The restaurant has a very popular atmosphere with sometimes queues going outside the door. Alot of families come here as a sort of gathering and is a tradition for many people. Over the years the place has been renovated to allow more people to experience the unique taste of pho while the service has remained very efficient and clean. The price has gone up to $12 for medium and $13 for large but overall you get your money well worth the experience and your taste buds will surely get satisfied (Y)

Pho An - Bankstown

The entry, arranged with 'exit' and 'entry' for precision logistic flow.... Guess this is handy during the mad peak lunch feeding frenzy....
Entry to Pho An

So if you havent heard of pho or your wondering what im talking about, it is a type of Vietnamese noodle soup which is usally served in beef or chicken. In addition the soup includes noodles made from rice and is often served with thai basil, lime, bean sprouts to add to the taste to the soup. Writing this post is make me very hungry, i might indeed go to bankstown this weekend and order a bowl of pho with rare beef...

The two different sizes ~ $13.50 for the large or 50c less for the small.... I thought it was better deal to get the large, even if you don't finish it. My Hubby cleaned up the large bowl in less than 10 mins!

Hot, brothy, coriander and loaded with tender thin slices of beef, swimming in a jumble of silky white rice noodles...... Slurpin' silky goodness!
